I've had this product since I first discovered it a few yrs. ago. I bought it on-line and it has always worked very well. The small downside would be that it takes a little too long. But if you let it convert overnight, then it's really good. However, I have since discovered a great free convertet that, in some ways, is better than Nero. You can convert, add titles and add background and it converts in a 2-3 hours. It's called "convertXtoDVD". Google it and scope it out. And, as I said, it's free. Amazing product.

Product does not support MKV files as it claims- support wants you to not only pay for the license but then spend all your time helping THEM FIX their peice of garbage software. Very unimpressed.

Buyer Beware! This software AVS Video from AVSMedia requires internet for phone home. If change video card or disk drive just minor change software phones home and license is revoked. Support can not do anything but canned responses like read the FAQ. The software works sometimes. But when it does not work you are out of luck.

When using the upgraded AVS vido converter, the video is fine, but the audio sucks. Sounds like satan getting run over by a truck. Have asked for support. Was told to use 'repair' utility. Have also downloaded every upgrade around. Product doesn't work. Would not purchase again. Am hopeful that they will fix this problem.

Demo ver has problems; co says 'buy license'. Once licensed, get severe audio-video synch issues. Co's tech spt says they know, can't fix. Co refuses to refund money. Do NOT buy, or buy at your own risk.
