Streamcast

PHP Streamcast is a front end for a version of streamcast (called stream-db) that will use a database as a backend for playlists and queues, instead of the current Perl data structures. The aim of the project is to create a streaming media station.

streamcast is an advanced icecast and shoutcast mp3 streamer. It supports requests, ID3 tags, mountpoints, and re-encoding. Requests can be added via the console, and playlists managed in real time over a telnet session. The administration console is designed to be interfaced via front-ends.
