Send Jabber Message

This module is a wrapper around Net::Jabber that allows you to do one thing simply - send Jabber messages. It is useful for daemon processes, cron jobs or in any program that you want to be able to get your attention via Jabber. SYNOPSIS use Jabber::SimpleSend qw(send_jabber_message);...

This script contains a handler class which sends a Jabber message for each logging event. If you have long-running scripts on many remote machines and you want to be alarmed if one of them crashes, use the JabberHandler to log it to your account.
