Purging

mboxpurge is a Perl script for purging old messages out of mbox-style mailboxes. mboxpurge can also archive (move old messages) and extract (copy old messages) into a new mailbox. Age can be specified in ISO format (YYYY-MM-DD) or in hours, days, months, or years.. terminal.se - code

Allows administrator to set up automatic purging of forum posts by date.e.g. delete Classifieds forum posts older than two months.If a post has a comment more recent than the delete threshold, it won't be deleted.

Purging the catalog database would always require recreating links throughout my site as product or category id's would always change. So I came up with this page.Very easy to install, it can be used as much or as little as you wish without affecting anything on your site.
