Portable Mail Client Exchange

In the Oracle database there are two PL/SQL APIs to send mails: UTL_SMTP and UTL_MAIL. But there is no package which is able to retrieve messages from a mailbox on a server. The here provided package MAIL_CLIENT closes this gap.

Handles GetURL apple events, like a mail client would handle a mailto link, by delegating them to the mutt mail client, using AppleScript and Terminal.app. Both the developers are viewing this mostly as a learning experience, so you are welcome to join.
