Starret Decimal Equivalents

A simple file that converts an decimal number between -1 and 0.9999, for Q15 format representation, used in DSP's.

Because we use the decimal number system so much, we often prefer to have a Decade Counter instead of a Binary Counter. Using 4 J-K Flip Flops and skipping six of its possible output states, simulation of Decade Counter is carried out with components available in Simulink.

num2english translates numbers to their plain english equivalents: num2english(14) returns 'fourteen', num2english(7.63) returns 'seven point six three'. Options include year and priority formats. I use this for building strings.
