Mplayer

The toolbox is a toolbox with many bash-scriptsinside the package. The project should helpyou easily do the daily Multimedia tasks.It only requires the Mplayer (+Mencoder) and lame is installed. Sure, you will need the Bash. ;)

Easily create MP4 video file from any video file. Video input file can be avi, mpg, mov, wmv, xvid, mp4, flv or mkv. The output file has a x264-aac coded video file with MP4 extension. This QT program uses mplayer, MP4Box, faac, x264.

The videotrans project is a set of scripts that converts a movie file in any format that mplayer understands (AVI, etc) to a DVD compatible VOB file, including all the necessary conversions. Further, an automatic DVD menu generator is provided.
