A single phase motor is is operated using a quasi square wave inverter with third harmonic cancellation. A dead band of 60 degree has eliminated almost all the third harmonic component.

The simulation for educational purposes shows the resulting rotating vector from the 3 by 120 degrees shifted sinusoidals in a phase plane.
